Let me start off by saying this is a genuinely good movie. Movies like these are the reason why I like movies so much. It was fun not bored me which seems to be norm for me these days. It was a light-hearted fun movie. Definitely worth recommending to others and maybe even re-watch with loved ones.    I don't like re-watching movies so it is saying something. These sort of movies also highlight the beauty of life which we tend to forget amid our chaotic lives. It helps us become more optimistic towards life. It appeals to our gentle gracious instincts which are rarely touched in our lives.  Things get back to normal again in this episode, meaning a case arrives at the doorstep of the Buffy gang and they solve it. So in the begining of the episode while visiting the graveyard, which is just another day of work for Buffy considering her line of work. So in the cemetary, She stumbles into a open grave, literally. She realises that dead bodies from the graves are going missing. The gang comes up with different theories like Someone is building a zombie army or Vampire have to do with this somehow. But, both very plausible theories turns out to be wrong. However, it turns out two of the kid from the school are behind this. One of kid's brother got killed in a car crash. But, he somehow managed to resurrect him but he is resurrected with the scars of the crash and he looks horrendous. Naturally, no living women will go near him, sounds very familiar problem to me.  This blog is ramble about the second part of the documentary, The Enemies of Reason.  This is a follow-up on the blog about the first part of the documentary which is named,    "Slaves to Superstition" . Which dealt with the world of clairvoyance. It included Psychics Fortunetellers, Astrologers and the so-called Psychic Mediums.  The Second part is called " The Irrational Health Service " . Which is about the world of so-called " Alternative Medicine ".  Alternative Medicine is a cluster of disciplines which claims to cure and heal but has yet to prove any real efficacy. It looks like it would work but it doesn't. Alternative Medicine can also be called Pseudosciene. The documentary is hosted by renowned Evolutionary Biologist Richard Dawkins.   Finally, After so much delaying and postponing, I watched it, the first episode of Buffy S02. It was excellent to say the least. I got hooked again on this show just like the start of the first season. I noticed it a few times but never mentioned it that soundtrack of the show is brilliant, just awesome. It matches perfectly to the show and captures the vibe of the show.  This is just the ramble about the first part of documentary. The Enemies of Reason is a TV documentary which deals with fortunetelling and the "supernatural"  along with psuedoscientific domains of medicine also known as alternative medicine. Dawkins argues that if "alternative medicine" was real medicine, then it would be shown in scientific studies but in scientific studies, it has little to no efficacy. This is a two-part documentary. The First part is named "Slaves to Superstition".  Reacher is an Amazon Original Series based on Lee Child's bestselling novel "Killing Floor". Novel was released back in '97. Reacher is a crime thriller with action thrown into the mix. Before this series, couple of movies has been made on Lee's novel. In which Tom Cruise played Jack Reacher. Which were not groundbreaking but fine. Watchable movies but not top notch. So the series is based on the story of Jack Reacher, a veteran. Reacher comes to a town named Margrave around the time a murder takes place. Most of the story happens in Margrave however characters sometimes travel outside. Margrave is a small town which naturally lays suspicion on the newcomer, Reacher. So he gets arrested. Then he is sent to jail where inmates try to murder him. But, he gets through by sticking his finger in the eye of an inmate. Fight scene was well choreographed.   The Terminal List is a Amazon Original TV Series released on 1st July 2022. It is based on a bestselling book by Jack Carr. Another Prime Original called Jack Ryan is also based on a bestselling book by Tom Clancy. Without Remorse starring Michael B. Jordan, was also released by Amazon which was based on Tom Clancy Book.  Without Remorse was a movie however unlike Jack Ryan. W/O Remorse didn't do the trick for me. I found it rather bland and meh. I know that Action movies are not actually cerebral and high brow but it relied to much on the fame of Michael B. Jordan. I didn't even remembered the plot after the ending of the movie. It was utterly forgettable. It was simply just Michael B. Jordan Murder Porn. Maybe I didn't like it cause I am not particularly a big fan of Michael B. Jordan or maybe the movie was just terrible. 16/6/2022 This was the final episode.So episode starts off with Xander rehearsing to propose Buffy.The moment we all been waiting for all season.We all know how it's gonna end.Demonstrably,Xander gets rejected.Then we hearthe classic,I don't see you that way.I see you as a friend.Xander says a dialogue 'I don't handle reject well which is wierd considering the practice I have.Then She tries to soften the blow and then He says didn't need that and exits the scene.Then He asks Willow for the prom and She rejects him too,which was completely warranted.In the next scene,we find out world is going to end but before Master kills Buffy.Giles discusses this with Angel but Buffy overhears it.Then She has a big meltdown and decides to jump ship.But,Multiple students die and this traumatises Willow.When Buffy finds out She comforts her and decides to confront the Master.Master kills her with ease.Then the evil creatures attack the library where Buffy gang is except...

13/06/2022 This episode is ridiculous.Let me explain.A girl named Marci is socially invisible.Socially invisible means She has no friends and barely have any acquaintances,meaning barely anyone knows her on first name basis.So as we know hellmouth has been opened.Consequently,supernatural mishaps are befalling our Sunnydale.Because of this Socially Invisible kids literally gets invisible as in no one can see them.What?Also,everyone ignores her like ad in YouTube.The show provide no reason for her exclusion.She is average looking and She talks fine.I don't know why everyone ignore her so much.It seemed like everyone is complicit in a elaborate plan of sorts to ignore her.It just made no sense.I think this show is steering towards becoming a soap opera.But,turning invisible plot point seemed like fan fiction to me.What are they doing?I was so hopeful about this show.Is this going to be just like Supernatural?But First season of Supernatural was brilliant.This show is goin...

10/06/2022 This episode was the most impactful one for the Buffy Universe.The whole highschool gets plunged into the mess of the hellmouth.They not only are plunged in the supernatural mess but they wallow in it.Buffy literally gets buried alive after turning into a Vampire.What?Before this episode,the show was coasting along not taking itself too seriously excepts at some moments.But in this one it causes to get out of feeling chill and easygoing by hitting your head with its grimness.A clown tries to murder Xander with a knife.Giles forgets how to read.It starts decent and then keeps getting grimmer and grimmer. 04/06/2022 In this episode,the relationship between Angel and Buffy is sorely explored after teasing the prospect for six episodes.It has a major plot twist,It is revealed that Angel is in fact a (drumroll) Vampire.It is disclosed right after Angel and Buffy share a well setup kiss.We get yanked out of the romantic scene by revelation of Angel's real vampire face.That was quite a revelation if you ask me.Also,Angel saves Buffy ass.She narrowly survives death.When Giles looks into the matter he found out that Angel is in fact more than two centuries old. 02/06/2022 It was nice.We got to see a more teen side of Buffy.Till now she had been in her badass mode.In this episode,she gets smitten by Owen.Owen life's gets risked.It is shown in this episode,the problems faced by Superhero as they try to have a social life especially dating life.Giles warns her from the get go that it is not practical for her to date.At the end of episode,she gets to conclusion that yes,she can't date without risking the life of the person she is dating.It was a very crushing realisation.But,She takes the right decision in the end.Superheros life are marked by sacrifice,which is brilliantly showcased here.You genuinely feel for her. 01/06/2022 This episode was a bit underwhelming or maybe it's due to my gloomy mood.Anyways,the Villian was disgusting and it was hinted at the backend ofthe episode that the villian's offspring maybe coming back in later episodes.Which is a diapponting thing to episode. Willow is great in this episode also.She show at the beginning of the episode how good of a friend she is.Which is later backed by her genuine concern for Xander's safety.It showed that she really cared for him.It was very heartwarming to see.Giles is creditable as always.Sarah is great as always.

30/05/2022 It just is great.It just keeps on delivering great stuff.Lately,I have gone crazy on movies and tv stuff and been just plunging in the deepest waters of cinema for a while.So,because of overdoing it,I felt bored watching most of the stuff,including many ones who i had considered interesting but not really did that for me.So,liking this show so much certainly indicates that it has great potential.Brilliant Stuff. 28/05/2022 It's surely delivers after the promising pilot.I just am enamoured by Alyson Hannigan's role.She not only is drop dead gorgeous.There is a character named Angel in the show,I think they gave this name to the wrong character.Besides her facial symmetry she is awkwardly funny in this episode. On one occasion,she says "Would anyone mind if I pass out".Also,one time she takes a sweet revenge from the mean girl and prompts her to delete the whole program which she was struggling to save.I mean if you have got aesthetics,witty dialogues,cute innocence and ability to stand up for yourself, what else you want.She is definitely becoming one of my favorite character ever and i have only seen two episodes of her show. 27/05/2022 The episode is reasonably sound for a pilot of a 90s show. Sarah Michelle Gellar is great for Buffy's role. She surely has capability to handle this demanding role. She is also palpably gorgeous. But, the eerie thing was the awkward girl in the episode was the one who is drop dead gorgeous,usually it's the mean girl. The Mean Girl is the least attractive one and also she is not that mean. Sarah showcases opportune amount of reservedness, extraversion and quirkiness, which works exquisitely. Her mentor has a British accent, which certainly adds to the show positives. Villains are creditable. Other cast members are okay as well. The show commences with a captivating spectacle and ends in with a cliffhanger, which works out in favour of the show.  In conclusion,great pilot episode certainly makes a compelling case to watch the next episode.

 Buffy, The Vampire Slayer is a 1992 comedy horror movie which caused a tv series in 1997 with the same name which was critically acclaimed and was highly successful tv show. Plot You would think that horror and comedy is horrible mix but somehow this movie makes it work. Plot is simple. Buffy a cheerleader is The Chosen one or simply The Slayer who can vanquish vampires. Humans can't kill vampires but vampires can kill humans so to balance this equation, a variable is introduced which is The Slayer. So, she has to kill the chief vampire to save humanity. Commentary  For a movie you would need a gorgeous actress (duh). The protagonist which is played by Kristy Swanson, She looked like Haley Atwell.
