Buffy The Vampire Slayer S1 Ep 9 Commentary

This episode was good,really good.Right back on track.So,the episode starts off with a song performance by Cordelia.The song was so terrible that I feel terrible using the word terrible cause terrible is far better than this.Song was just rancid diarrhea.I mean even I use words to describe it,it won't be able to capture how bad it is.One has to see for themself to understand how bad it is.Its just unbelievably bad.Then,it proceeds forward with quite a funny scene.Where the Buffy gang teases Giles.It was very well made and absolutely needed at that point after that song oh my goodness.Then comes the new principal who is an disciplinarian.Since the Buffy gang has to maintain a life which teeters between the dark side and highschool,by the way maintaining only single one of them is incredibly challenging,they have not been the most ideal student to put it lightly.They sometimea leave at lunch.Which has been brought to attention of the principal.So naturally,he punishes them to take part in the talent show which has the likes of Cordelia.After that scene,a girl gets murdered and the killer rips her heart out.Which was gnarly to be totally honest with you.Buffy gang immediately turns up at the scene as they do.They suspect someone from darkside was in involved but that theory gets thrown out of window because a knife has been found at scene.Surely,someone from darkside was involved than they would have used claws.So Buffy gang comes to the conclusion that the culprit is a human.They also come across this Morgan guy who has a puppet.Later,it was revealed that the puppet was the one who ripped the heart out of the girl.The Dummy tries to kill Buffy and nearly succeds which is wierd cause supreme evil beings and struck out utterly in attempting to slay the Slayer but it was the dummy who was just about to end her.So She captures him and interregotes him and it was revealed that the dummy is actually a Slayer but not a Vampire Slayer like Buffy but a demon Slayer and he was executing demons and have succeeded in killing 8 out of 9 that was needed and he believed that Buffy was the last one.That's why he tried to kill her during her sleep earlier in the episode and later by a knife when  she just woke up after being knocked out by a big metal structure which I was not able to ID.Turns out the demon is harvesting the organs to return to human form and the last part he needs is a healthy brain.He decides to open Giles mind literally by Guillotine.The gang arrives at the eleventh hour and saves him as instead decapitates the demon and the soul of the dummy or whatever releases and he succumbs after entering a knife in the demon's heart.Then,the curtain gets pulled up and the gang is on stage and then there's a awkward moment.At last,They give a very underwhelming performance.Maybe not underwhelming cause in order to be underwhelming, people must be expecting something out of you.Lets just say they give a awful performance at the backend of the episode.Also,Overall the episode was funny especially at the start.Nice episode.Looking forward to the next one.
