A Walk to Remember T his is a very emotional and bittersweet movie. It tells a tragic tale of love between two unlikely people. It doesn't feel forced. Even Side characters have an arch and a chance to redeem themselves. The movie is very well-paced. The story flows seamlessly. In the third act, a character dies, and that is the peak moment of the film. The acting is superb across the board. Brittany Runs a Marathon This is a redemption movie. The lead character starts as a mess but slowly redeems herself and gets her act together. The writing and direction are on point. Overall, this is an optimistic and excellent movie. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind This is an unadulterated garbage movie. One of the most unromantic romance movies of all time. I would expect this from Kate Winslet but not from Jim Carrey. I don't know what he was thinking. The movie tries to be intelligent and thoughtful but doesn't have the wherewith...
