Mean Girls 2 Ramble

Trust me I went in to hate this movie I tried to but I failed to cause this movie is so good. This is what every teen movie should aspire to. It is a great movie. One of the Best I have ever seen. You are supposed to hate the sequel of a famous movie and I wanted to but this movie is too good to jump on the bandwagon and say it's trash. It has a rating of 4 on IMDB and 2 out of 5 on google rating. Everyone who commented said I liked the first movie and so I hate the sequel. They argued that it is bad cause it is a sequel.

Mean Girls 2 is a sequel to the 2004 movie Mean Girls starring Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and the ugly Rachel McAdams who also has a terrible second name and I don't like her, and was written by Tina Fey. This is a very famous movie. It was a decent movie as far as I can remember but certainly not as good as this one. Mean Girls 2 is a Teen Drama Television Movie that premiered in 2011 on Abc Family. The Movie is 97 minutes long just like the First movie. Also, It was shot just in 22 days which is impressive. Being a sequel to a well-received movie while being a low-budget tv movie that was shot in 22 days, it has no right to be as good as it is. The odds were stacked against it big-time. Also, the cast is obscure and consists of nobodies, no offense of course. Still, it worked pretty brilliantly.

The movie introduces us to Jo our protagonist who is a drifter student meaning she changes school twice a year at least. Her father is a mechanic who rebuilds engines for NASCAR. She is an 18-year-old high school senior who attends North Shore High School with the hopes of attending Carnegie Mellon University, her late mother's alma mater. Since it is the last year of school she just wants to keep her head down and not stand out but that what's she does. She stands out big-time. We are introduced to the mean girls of the school, The Plastics just like in the sequel. Plastics are headed by Mandi, a cruel, manipulative, conceited, spoiled, famous, and rich bully. She is jealous of Abby who is an awkward unpopular girl who is also her neighbor and is richer than her. Mandi bullies and humiliates Abby but Jo befriends Abby and sticks out for her which makes Jo a target for Mandi. So this movie is essentially Jo and Mandi trying to one-up each other. Mandi sabotages Jo's father's race car engine and then she tries to get back at her. She succeeds in toppling Mandi from her Queen status at the school. Mandi gets back at Jo by getting her expelled but she gets exposed. The movie can also be named Mandi vs Jo. Despite this, it also shows very nice things happening to the background character Abby. At the end of the movie, she becomes the prom queen and gets a boy who also becomes the prom king. It was a good scene. All things considered, it was a pretty good movie.
